Overview

On this tour, you will head through Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. In Serengeti National Park, you may see the wildebeest migration, elephants, buffalo, zebras, impalas, leopards, lions and birds. On the Ngorongoro Crater floor, enjoy seeing hippos and the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and black rhinoceros). All accommodations, meals and drinking water will be provided.

Day 01 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, after breakfast at 8:30 am, our driver will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park. We will enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, followed by dinner and overnight at Suricata Boma Lodge, located near Lake Manyara.

Day 02 :

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source and attracts wildlife representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight in the Seronera area.

Day 03 :

Serengeti National Park

You will go on an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, which is the biggest national park in the world. Enjoy the natural features and beauty, and return for breakfast and relaxation. Then, go on a game drive with a picnic lunch, and later return for dinner and overnight at the Seronera campsite.

Day 04 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the campsite, we depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en-route game drive. We will see Olduvai Gorge from afar, boasting a history dating back to the dawn of time (this will be organised at an extra cost). It was here that the anthropologists, Drs Louis and Mary Leakey, discovered the skulls of "Nutcracker Man" and "Handy Man", both of which were significant links in the chain of human evolution. We arrive in time for lunch at the campsite, and after lunch, we will descend over 600 meters into the crater for a half-day safari tour to view wildlife. Dinner and overnight are at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 05 :

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, we depart for a descent into the crater for a game drive. There, you can view the Big Five. After a full game drive in the crater, we will drive you to Lake Manyara, where you can see buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift wall. Later in the evening, we will drive you back to Arusha.

Professional We had an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience, and we would like to especially thank Misheck and Emanuel for their amazing work. Misheck managed the entire organization of the trip in a very professional way. Everything was perfectly arranged, and he was always present, attentive, and supportive. He truly acted like a manager of the whole journey, making sure that everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. His professionalism and calm coordination made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. Our driver and travel guide Emanuel was excellent. He is clearly a very experienced and skilled driver who knows the conditions extremely well. During one drive we had a tire puncture, which is something that can normally happen due to the terrain. Emanuel handled the situation calmly and professionally and changed the tire within about 15 minutes. This showed his experience and competence. In addition, Emanuel has extensive knowledge about wildlife and nature. He explained many things about the animals and their behavior, which made the experience even more interesting and educational. He has also an academic background. Safety was also something we truly appreciated. Seat belts were fully functional, and we were able to fasten them properly at all times — which is very important. The vehicle was also equipped with a first-aid kit, which gave us an additional sense of security. This level of safety awareness means a lot. We would always recommend guests to check seat belts properly and stay safely seated — and remain buckeld - also in the parks and everywhere else — as this saves lives.- Take really care about that- PLEASE!!! ( I have experience and I know about what I am talking about) Of course, the guys were always buckled too — everybody was. If, for example, your driver is not buckled, then in the case of an accident, he cannot control the car properly anymore, and every life should be protected. If someone in the car is not buckled, then this person and everybody can get into trouble, and then of course lives are not safe. We also appreciated the respect for nature and environmental awareness shown throughout the trip. It was clear that the team values conservation and responsible tourism. A very kind and personal touch was the beautiful personalized bottles with our names that we received as a gift — such a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more special. Thank you very much again for this unforgettable journey and many greetings from Germany. And we would also like to mention that the team recommended that we stay at the accommodation Hillside Retreat. This place belongs to a non-governmental organization for social work and humanitarian aid within the local community. What we especially appreciated is that even by simply staying there, guests already support the people on site and their ongoing work. Guests also have the opportunity to visit some of their community projects, such as an orphanage, a tailoring house, local schools, the nearby market, etc. This offers a meaningful insight into everyday life and allows visitors to better understand how tourism can positively contribute to the local community. We recommend avoiding plastic packaging at all and removing labels before arrival in the country in order to help prevent unnecessary waste. (It is also better to give pencils rather than ballpoint pens.) There is also an opportunity to bring presents for school children from the ethnic groups visited, or for school children you may meet along the way, but it is important to make sure that giving is done responsibly and respectfully. Very nice property Mother Daughter 10 night stay here did not disappoint. This property is in the village of Kisongo just outside of Arusha. The property is beautiful with stunning gardens and beautiful birds. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. They are in the process of building a pool which will be a nice addition. They lodge has a daily food menu, you can choose from but will accommodate you if you have dietary issues. The common area is very spacious with plenty of areas you can relax and there is a separate bar with tables and chairs. We are regulars to this area because we sponsor children at a school in Kisongo and we volunteer our time at the school. We plan to return to Kutoka Lodge in the future. Trip of a lifetime What an incredible trip with Tanzania Adaptive Safaris. We did a day in Manyara National park, two days in the Serengeti and a day in the Ngorongoro crater, we saw so much. It was seamless from start to finish. Meshaki our driver was just amazing, he picked us up from the airport, was with us the whole time till he dropped us back at the airport.
