Itinerary

After breakfast, your professional Tanzania Adaptive Safaris guide will pick you up in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.

Tarangire is renowned for its giant baobab trees, vast savannah landscapes, and large elephant herds that gather along the Tarangire River. The park is also home to lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, leopards, and an impressive variety of birdlife. With fewer visitors than some of Tanzania’s other northern parks, Tarangire offers an authentic and rewarding safari experience.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to Karatu in the late afternoon.

Accommodation: Ellien's Inn Hotel, Karatu
Meals: Lunch, Dinner

After an early breakfast, depart for the Southern Serengeti ecosystem and the famous Ndutu region. During the calving season, this area hosts massive concentrations of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, creating one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife events.

Enjoy game viewing en route as you travel across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the endless plains of Ndutu. The abundance of prey attracts predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals, making this one of the best wildlife-viewing destinations in Tanzania.

Arrive at your camp in time for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Tanzania Bush Camp – Ndutu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Ndutu with morning and afternoon game drives.

During the calving season, thousands of wildebeest calves are born daily, attracting predators and creating extraordinary wildlife encounters. Your guide will take you through the best wildlife areas in search of large migratory herds, big cats, elephants, giraffes, and numerous other species.

A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to maximize your time in the field and remain close to the wildlife throughout the day.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater and descend approximately 600 meters into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera.

Often referred to as Africa’s "Garden of Eden," the crater supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. With luck, you may also spot all members of the famous Big Five during your crater exploration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
