Day 01 :

Journey from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

You will be collected from your lodge early in the morning and set off toward Lake Manyara National Park, prepared for an immersive game drive with packed lunch boxes for the day.

Lake Manyara National Park also boasts vast troops of baboons that inhabit the lush groundwater forest and often accompany visitors from the very moment they enter the park. As you explore this remarkably diverse ecosystem, you will encounter a rich array of wildlife set against the backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment.

After completing the game drive, you will proceed to your lodge, where you can unwind and relax, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in a serene setting.

Day 02 :

Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti - Game drive en route

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will depart Lake Manyara and begin your scenic journey toward the Central Serengeti, enjoying a game drive en route as the landscape gradually transforms from lush highlands to vast open plains.
The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering opportunities to spot wildlife along the way, including plains game and predators, while admiring sweeping views of the crater highlands.

Upon entering Serengeti National Park, the adventure truly begins as you embark on extended game viewing across the iconic savannah, home to abundant wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and antelope.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey, surrounded by the untamed beauty of the Serengeti. Game viewing continues throughout the afternoon as you make your way to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay, immersed in the heart of the African wilderness.

Day 03 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area - En-route game viewing

It is an early start as you gather in your safari vehicle at 6:00 am for a sunrise game drive, the ideal time to observe the Serengeti’s wildlife at their most active. Delight in close encounters with iconic animals before pausing at a scenic picnic spot in the heart of the wilderness for a delicious breakfast surrounded by nature’s splendor.

The game drive continues until midday, offering further opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. After lunch, depart the Serengeti and drive through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In the evening, arrive at your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay await, allowing you to soak in the spectacular views and tranquillity of this remarkable setting.

Day 04 :

From nature's wonder to departure (Ngorongoro to Arusha Airport)

After an early breakfast, descend into the majestic Ngorongoro Crater with packed breakfasts in hand. Spend the morning on a game drive across this remarkable ecosystem, rich in diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy lunch within the crater before ascending to the rim and beginning the journey back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at Arusha Airport. Professional We had an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience, and we would like to especially thank Misheck and Emanuel for their amazing work. Misheck managed the entire organization of the trip in a very professional way. Everything was perfectly arranged, and he was always present, attentive, and supportive. He truly acted like a manager of the whole journey, making sure that everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. His professionalism and calm coordination made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. Our driver and travel guide Emanuel was excellent. He is clearly a very experienced and skilled driver who knows the conditions extremely well. During one drive we had a tire puncture, which is something that can normally happen due to the terrain. Emanuel handled the situation calmly and professionally and changed the tire within about 15 minutes. This showed his experience and competence. In addition, Emanuel has extensive knowledge about wildlife and nature. He explained many things about the animals and their behavior, which made the experience even more interesting and educational. He has also an academic background. Safety was also something we truly appreciated. Seat belts were fully functional, and we were able to fasten them properly at all times — which is very important. The vehicle was also equipped with a first-aid kit, which gave us an additional sense of security. This level of safety awareness means a lot. We would always recommend guests to check seat belts properly and stay safely seated — and remain buckeld - also in the parks and everywhere else — as this saves lives.- Take really care about that- PLEASE!!! ( I have experience and I know about what I am talking about) Of course, the guys were always buckled too — everybody was. If, for example, your driver is not buckled, then in the case of an accident, he cannot control the car properly anymore, and every life should be protected. If someone in the car is not buckled, then this person and everybody can get into trouble, and then of course lives are not safe. We also appreciated the respect for nature and environmental awareness shown throughout the trip. It was clear that the team values conservation and responsible tourism. A very kind and personal touch was the beautiful personalized bottles with our names that we received as a gift — such a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more special. Thank you very much again for this unforgettable journey and many greetings from Germany. And we would also like to mention that the team recommended that we stay at the accommodation Hillside Retreat. This place belongs to a non-governmental organization for social work and humanitarian aid within the local community. What we especially appreciated is that even by simply staying there, guests already support the people on site and their ongoing work. Guests also have the opportunity to visit some of their community projects, such as an orphanage, a tailoring house, local schools, the nearby market, etc. This offers a meaningful insight into everyday life and allows visitors to better understand how tourism can positively contribute to the local community. We would also like to emphasize that there are many opportunities to support their work, for example by donation, by bringing printed educational materials or learning papers, which can be very useful for the children, as well as school supplies or clothing. We recommend avoiding plastic packaging at all and removing labels before arrival in the country in order to help prevent unnecessary waste. (It is also better to give pencils rather than ballpoint pens.) There is also an opportunity to bring presents for school children from the ethnic groups visited, or for school children you may meet along the way, but it is important to make sure that giving is done responsibly and respectfully. Very nice property Mother Daughter 10 night stay here did not disappoint. This property is in the village of Kisongo just outside of Arusha. The property is beautiful with stunning gardens and beautiful birds. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. They are in the process of building a pool which will be a nice addition. They lodge has a daily food menu, you can choose from but will accommodate you if you have dietary issues. The common area is very spacious with plenty of areas you can relax and there is a separate bar with tables and chairs. We are regulars to this area because we sponsor children at a school in Kisongo and we volunteer our time at the school. We plan to return to Kutoka Lodge in the future. Trip of a lifetime What an incredible trip with Tanzania Adaptive Safaris. We did a day in Manyara National park, two days in the Serengeti and a day in the Ngorongoro crater, we saw so much. It was seamless from start to finish. Meshaki our driver was just amazing, he picked us up from the airport, was with us the whole time till he dropped us back at the airport.
